Today we celebrated this awesome day in history by counting to twelve...a lot. With my older ones we figured out it would not happen until Jaylynn was 45 and Jorden was 43. We won't get into my age...
We made these awesome Christmas trees for the 12 days of Christmas. We counted, cut, and pasted green strips down. I wrote the numbers and had the kids see what they could recognize.
Then we did finger paints and counted to 12.
My older kids wanted to finger paint, I wanted them to write different math ways to get to the number on the tree. You could also use different craft objects like buttons, stickers, foam shapes, and others.
